What are the eligibility requirements?

Applicants must have completed a four-year undergraduate programme, or already hold a Master’s degree. Beyond this baseline, Economics and Data Analytics expects a quantitative background from Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or another STEM discipline; Applied Digital Health and Responsible AI is open to any four-year undergraduate discipline; and Human Health and Immunology requires a relevant biological or health-science background.

Which programme fits my academic background?

Economics and Data Analytics is for quantitatively prepared applicants from Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or another STEM discipline. Digital Health accepts any four-year undergraduate discipline. Human Health and Immunology requires a relevant biological or health-science background.

Do I need programming experience?

Digital Health requires no prior technical, medical or programming experience. Human Health and Immunology requires no prior programming experience, but applicants need a relevant biological or health-science background. Economics expects an eligible quantitative background.

Where are the programmes held?

All three programmes are taught in person on Ashoka University’s residential campus in Sonepat, Haryana.

How is each programme structured?

All three carry 40 credits across two semesters. Economics has ten compulsory courses across a coursework-only year. Digital Health and Human Health and Immunology each divide credits across core courses, electives and a 12-credit dissertation.

What are the fees for the one-year Master’s programmes?

The annual fee is INR 11,79,200, comprising Tuition Fees of INR 10,74,000, Off-Campus Double Occupancy accommodation (TDI) of INR 99,800, and Essential Services (medical insurance and laundry) of INR 5,400. Students may instead opt for Off-Campus Single Occupancy accommodation, subject to availability and Admissions Committee approval, at INR 1,26,000 per annum. Where a Master’s student is allotted On-Campus housing, the applicable residence fee follows the Undergraduate Residence Fee schedule.

Can I get an education loan for the programme?

Yes. Ashoka University has partnered with Credila, Avanse Financial Services, Axis Bank and Propelld to help students access customised education loans, including options with interest subvention.

What career outcomes can I expect after the programme?

Economics and Data Analytics graduates move into financial and quantitative analytics, data and business analytics, economics and public policy, or further study through PhD pathways. Applied Digital Health and Responsible AI graduates work in digital health policy and governance, responsible AI and ethics, health technology evaluation and implementation, or with public-sector and global health organisations. Human Health and Immunology graduates pursue vaccine and biopharma R&D, immunotherapy and clinical research, biotechnology and regulatory sciences, or further research through PhD pathways.
